definately a scam about car insurance. They have been ringing me for years. Last time I said "If you call me again I will have the police on to you". They replied with "Ok sorry sir". I reckon tho' even tho it's a Sydney number they might actually be in India but you never know. A lot of scams like this one also come out of Thailand, Mostly by Indians Somalis Pakistanis Romanians Ghanians. I read Thai online newspapers that tell of police raids almost on a daily basis where some gang has been caught. If they ring 10 thousand people & get even 100 people fall for the scam they are winning. They will tell you you are due a payment but they need your bank account details to transfer the money. Don't fall for it its crap...

Pretend to be calling about an alleged car accident you've had. They've called 4 times in the past week. This is a scam.
