Call received from this number. No one responded when phone was picked up. Tried calling back to confront but keep getting "Your call could not be connected. Please check the number and try again".

It is a scam number claiming to have report of car crash insurance.

Called 3 times - no response when we answer. Same number.

Same Indian call centre calling me 3 times in a row today. So fed up with their crap so this time I decided to have some fun. I faked a story that the accident was one that claimed a friend's life and almost had the poor guy in the call centre in tears for "torturing" us with constant reminders of our friend. Had the rest of my office in stitches. Just a little bit of payback

It's a VOIP call - that's why there are delays between you saying Hello and them responding. They are calling over the net.

I made up a car model and a fake number plate number
She said "Oh yes I have the details now"
I then said I was going to alert the police - She hung up real quick !!!

In an Indian accent he said, " Hi this is Mike, I believe someone from this number was involved in a minor car accident" so, I said F#@% off d*ck head and hung up.

Scam alert. (02) 9899 5174. Broad Indian accented female, wanting information on last accident for green slip insurance. Have had my unlisted Telstra number for 20 years, and do not provide that number to any institution, be it art Union lotteries, business or pleasure. Am also on the Do Not Call Register. Concerned that numbers are being sold off to scam companies like this in exchange for sponsorship and advertising.

Similar experience. A male (Indian) voice asking if anyone has made any insurance claim in the last few months. He couldn't give details of his company and claimed they are acting on behalf of other insurance company such as NRMA. It is a Scam!

I've been called by this number as well. Some retard with an Indian accent starts talking about car insurance claims. When questioned all the maggot could say was 'it's ok, you can trust me'. I've already reported this phone number together with an overseas/international number to my 'real' insurance company for follow up.

As usual with unknown callers I let this one through to the keeper, & of course no message.
Anyone that has reason to speak to me has my mobile number, & if they don't think it's worth leaving a message, I don't think they're worth talking to.
I always use call screening for the landline; seems to weed out most nuisance callers.

Harassing calls at 7pm and after, nobody on the other end when we answer and cannot call back as "your call could not be connected etc"
