I returned a call from this number (02) 9753 1723 but no one answered the call

Caller: Called to be from Switzer of similar

Female calling from an obviously South Asian call centre. Knew my first name but when they asked if they were speaking with him, I said no and said they have the wrong number. She seemed surprised and I just terminated the call. I get these all the time because of have some internet domains and the number they call is one I used to use as a registrant.

I am no sure if the details that the number is from an Edensor Park address is correct because it was definitely one of those scammer type call centre callers.

Surely, there must be a way to stop these people using Australian telephone numbers. It really is getting beyond a joke. Every country is getting this calls. It is costing millions in lost calls because people are just not answering their telephones anymore from unknown numbers.
