Caller: The idiots of the world selling you rubbish

It's a robocall, they are not allowed to hide phone numbers anymore so you get dialled by a computer to see if the number is active, and at what time of day you are most likely to answer your phone - once you answer your number is given to 3rd parties who initiate more nuisance calls. When you call back initially, the same computer answers and gives you a false disconnection message (you will be able to tell that it's not Telstra advising you - it's an overseas accent) and the time you call back is also recorded. This gives them an idea of what times you are available to make calls. It's so ingenious yet so effing annoying!! I just don't answer numbers I don't recognise anymore, the legit callers, such as customer service centres in Australia, will leave you a voicemail or send you an email.

I called back number (02) 9653 9252 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
