Caller: Katie from the Altitude Rewards Team Sent as a missed call text message: The call today in regards to some recognise (?) activity on your rewards(?) account. I checked my statement - nothing amiss, then rang back and was asked to call an international number. I haven't - seems odd but will check my account again in the morning.

Caller: ANZ Rewards Called me back from this number after the call on their hotline dropped. Genuine call but appears to be a centralised number for more than one rewards scheme hence the long waiting times....

Caller: Stated was from Westpac Rewards Centre Rang wanting to speak to my husband regarding recent rewards redemption. My husband would not give out details .The person did not want to give out reason for call at first. Said later it was because of unpaid amount for reward. Checked later with bank and this is untrue. Thus concluded was a scam phishing for details

It is a total scam call as I do not bank with Westpac and the fact that this company no long has any contract with Westpac, so they are trying to scam whoever they can for whatever they can.

Got a call from (02) 9352 3110. It was from PinPoint on behalf of Westpac Altitude Rewards program. Call was to let me know that a flight I had booked through them had a schedule change and was arriving an hour later.
Amber
I got this number calling my iPhone! I didn't think they were allowed to call mobiles.

I'm getting two to four phone calls a week from this number. Some times two to three times a day! It can be a real nuisance but mostly I don't mind because it's my boyfriend and he works for Pinpoint. They have been contracted out to do WestPac tier 1 customer and basic card services.
They also do rewards programs as well - but allot of other stuff like banking. Mostly he just calls to tell me he loves me however.

Amazing-
After Calling the bank rewards and asking them to stop the telemarketing calls (from Pinpoint Marketing) I have received 2 more calls a week later for the same nonsense. I was on another call when they called (International of course) and when I asked if this was Pinpoint calling on behalf of my bank, they hung up. The third call came this morning. I asked why they were calling AGAIN after asking them to put me on their do not call list. They replied that they were not aware of my DNC request.
I called my bank, they said they have terminated their contract with Pinpoint and that Pinpoint is attempting to get customers to redeem their rewards before their contract is up, which my bank has asked them not to. Pinpoint is not serving their clients customers, they serve themselves.
Kendra
Any ideas who this might be?
