Called at 830am in the morning, no message left, searched the number and yes off course a SPAM call

Wonder why they need that for smooth transition. When log in have on their website or Mobile app or by email that the account will be merged with NAB on whatever date and when happens please use NAB app for login.

Caller: They don’t say their name They call me nearly every day, they used to say who they were, now it’s just silent on the line and then either day or I hang up. It is very frustrating. Reading all the comments above I now realise it’s CitiBank and have blocked the number. Hopefully no more calls.

Caller: Citibank I've had a Citi account for many years and switched off the website-controlled contacting permissions years ago. NAB bought the Citi Australia business last year and is now proceeding to migrate the Citi accounts to the NAB platform. It sent letters by snail recently that, amongst many things, asked customers to allow contact from Citi by multiple means (phone, email, SMS) in order to ensure a smooth transition. Unfortunately, Citi/NAB has abused the my trust and simply recommenced the heavy-handed, intrusive marketing tactics for selling loans etc that I abhorred in the past. Shame Citi Shame.

Caller: Scam call centre Came up on phone as Spam - Citibank. I answered it anyway but didn’t say anything & either did they. I do have a Citibank account but I asked that they take me off their call list months ago & I haven’t heard from them since. Definitely suspect a scam based on their silence and other comments left. Blocked number

Caller: Citibank Received call but did not answer, i called back later and it was a recorded message saying it was from Citibank offering latest deals on my account and that it was not urgent - so not a spam caller but not that important either.

Don't answer as it's spam. If you're concern that citibank is trying to contact u for some urgent matter then call them back on their 1300 number. I've done it a few times and citibank has always said they're not aware of any reasons they need to contact me via phone.

Caller: NAB CitiBank Keep calling to offer me promotions during work hours. I've blocked them for over 3 months now. They still keep calling and never leave a msg. IF it's so important, the bank can bloody well send me a letter!
