Missed a call from this number, Dodgy music when called back, no reply. Then someone called back asking for someone and then hung up.

It was Telstra support calling during an online service chat.

hollow sound - non english person asking for me by name about telecom. telecom hasn't existed for decades. spoke back saying, sorry. no english

It is definitely Telstra. They were replying to a message I left them online.

Its Telstra my plan runs out in a months time and they want to renew my contact.. (No way!!) don't pick up unless you want to get conned by them into another lengthy, expensive contract that'll possibly ruin you financially. xx

So I did have some issues and called Telstra today. But this number called at 12.30am! I missed it as I was asleep!

Genuine Telstra number, called me back re a fault complaint I made. It is from a call centre though, hence why there may be some confusion

Asked for someone that we have never heard of. Then asked for my name.
Call was during the holiday period. It's possible that its a scam.

i called it and its telstra saying that my account had been disconnected. I called telstra faults/billing and they said to ignore it as it could be a scam.

They rang me while.... I was on hold after ringing them on my landline.

Missed a call from this number in Dec, no message left

Don't know whether it's Telstra or a scam - rang - I didn't answer, so they terminated call. Now I DID lodge a query with Telstra customer service people, and they sent me a text shortly after stating they had received my query and would get back to me. They did so - after the "mystery call" - and sent me a text saying the problem had been resolved. So who knows???
