Was doing a follow up survey on how Sydney Water responded to a reported fault. It was genuine as he had what time I had called Sydney Water and my first name.

Did not leave a message and looked it up and found this, so I am leaving a comment too.

I could hear the intention of someone hanging on the other end of the call. This person should be blocked or reported to the police for breaking telecommunications acts/laws. 7:15pm weeknight ... I've blocked them.

She =: please pick up this call, it's an important survey from you local Council (About what???) Did not pick up. I have caller display on my phone

I took part in this survey, it’s not a scam. The female I spoke to was lovely, Jetty research is the name of the company. I asked about their company and they do surveys for government organisations. I was given a website address, completely legitimate. Look the website up, they’re a legitimate company

Received a call from this number at 7.45pm while I was driving, didn't answer and there was no msg left.

This number called me at 7.46pm on 29/9/20 and just now 6.18pm (next day 30/9) the same number but with the last number a 6 just called (02) 9194 0716. I have blocked both numbers. I don’t know anyone in Sydney. I am on the Do Not Call Register too!

Claimed to be conducting research on how household respond to emergencies. When asked how my number was obtained he said that the research team had obtained it and he could tell me more after I had completed the survey. He asked if I would be the person responsible in an emergency and then went on to say this would probably be the home owner. I hung up at this point.

Called at 8:15pm. Did not answer and caller did not leave a message.

I received a call at 8:15pm on Friday night from (02) 9194 0715 and didn't answer. Number is now blocked, however these types of nuisance callers will try again on a different number. Seeing comments alike is great to search these spam numbers and gives peace of mind reconfirming it wasn't worth answering.

With the amount of "legitimate" in this statement and a lot of other comments, this is definitely a scam

Well don't know why I got a call from that no, do not live in Sydney and don't have water acc rural we have tank water
