Call received from this number claiming to be Amazon seeking authorisation for a payment. Suspected scam

no one speaking

No idea, did not answer. Tried calling back but number not working anymore.
States on phone they called from sydney

Caller: Said NBN

Am getting lots of calls purporting to help NBN, today it was (02) 9189 7087

Caller: Amazon

Amazon is the most dangerous scam because Amazon created a code that allows access to your sim card.

I am unsure if just answering allows access but after some investigation, the percentage that just answering the phone gives access to your sim.

The group's to blame are your service provider for not stopping these scam calls from the source and Amazon its self for creating the code.

Answered it but they didn't speak

Caller claimed to be from NBN, and wanted to get access to my NBN.

Caller: Some kind of call centre - probs a scam

Answered the call and could hear a huge call centre churning with voices in the background, the person at the other end seemed to be speaking to someone there with them but didn't speak to me, stayed on the line for 15 seconds and they hung up

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Heard the delay, and accent so hung up.

Recorded voice ...thank you for placing an order with eBay you have been charged $300 ...scam

recording saying from Amazon Prime and were about to charge credit card, press 1 to cancel - scam......

Getting lots of scam calls from (02) 9189 7086 & 7087 etc they never leave a msg so definitely a scam, best thing to do is just block these numbers.

Missed the call called back and the phone didn't ring at all.. definitely a scammer, always if they won't leave a message..

This number called my mobile several times did not answer - Its a scam

Said to be calling from Telstra and conveyed that someone had complained about Broadband usage

Called from Sydney couldn’t call back

Caller: (02) 9189 7086

Call was detected as spam and blocked. Message left was from a call centre, with an Indian man saying Hello multiple times.

Scam call. Claimed to be from Amazon.

Re optus email being hacked by someone in the US sending obscene emails.

Tried calling back and now it's unavailable.
