Caller: (02) 9119 6550 I answered the phone and didn’t introduce myself. No one spoke for 10secs and they hung up. The increase in spam numbers and text messages has exponentially exploded. I’m receiving unsolicited calls and texts everyday. So frustrating. Life is busy enough without all this invasion of privacy and intrusion

Caller: Apparently Reachtel Research After checking here and online I've determined this is Reachtel. I have a msg stating I won't answer unknown numbers, so leave a message. They don't of course. They have their own Do Not Call register, check their website, and they'll remove your # from their lists.

Reachtel Research to ask opinions on various topics, called me 3 times in the last hour. I keep rejecting this phone number as I do not know who they are, how annoying

I agree with you Vicki. "Customers" are being 'stalked' by our details and 'approached' with these rampant unsolicited contact attemps. We are humans, not targets, in the real world, yet it seems, not in the "information" world. There is no peace in this marketing domain, only relentless attacks by modern profiteers. We need 'social distancing' legislation to protect our right to live an untargeted daily life. The constant need for deflection is becoming an epidemic of our attention.

If its not a Scammer Call Center its a Survey.... I’m registered on Do Not Call Register but doesn't stop me receiving unsolicited calls from places like this daily, DNC states "A call made to carry out opinion-polling or market research is not a telemarketing call" even though : I DONT WANT THEM CALLS **MORONS**. So frustrating Telstra & the Government are to blame but they dont care

They have rung both my house and mobile number - they dont leave a message and I wont answer as I dont know who it is. Interesting that they have both my numbers, obviously my information has been sold

Caller: Lots of calls I don't have any problem. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. They soon give up.

First call at dinnertime showed on my ph as suspected spam so I waited for it to stop ringing, researched the number & set it to block calls in my phone settings. Received 3 messages within the hour stating 3 missed calls from the blocked number. I do this with every number I don't recognise these days but I still get several a week despite being on the DNC list.
