After the rip off of the NSWRFS from the telemarketers there i don`t support any of the charities over the phone now not one at all,the answering machine does all the dirty work now from these sh*t marketers

Charities and government organisations are exempt from the do not call register. If you ever give your unlisted number to any organisation you buy goods from, especially online, that number can then be on sold.

If you had your roof blown off or bad damage during a storm or in an area where there were bush fires, who would you expect to be their or call to come and help!

Ummm im on do not call list. So why am i still receiving telemarketing calls?? Missed the number at 10:30am as im at work. Dont call me again as its illegal to do so. Will be taking notes of this number and if calls again, ill call an ombudsman for advice. Im on do not call list for a reason and that to stop telemarketers hassling me everyday non stop and calling my mobile number illegally as its not enlisted.

said he was SES. i asked how did you get this number: he said Australia Post sold it to them. Asked for a donation for NSW SES. Like i care, why would i donate to an interstate organization. If I was to give a donation my state comes first. Never give a donation over the phone. Poor SES. what bad publicity this wanker is giving them. I told him he was a sh*thead etc and finished with Cee you next Tuesday.

This number calls every day at various times. I answered once and they hung up so I no longer answer this number. The blocking facility on my phone is full otherwise they would be blocked.

SES fundraisers. They call my landline constantly but never leave message. I have complained several times to SES to no avail. I reported to my provider (Telstra); who have been most helpful and blocked this particular number, and given me a reference number for use with other numbers in case they change calling number. If you're with Telstra, ring their Unwelcome Calls section and ask them to block (I've already blocked number on my mobile myself). I will never again donate to the SES. Wouldn't you think these fk-wits would get the message that all they are doing is annoying people who may otherwise support them. Screw them!

I get these calls at least once a day, id states " unavailable (02) 9112 9640" but I run for the phone just to hear them hang up no conversation. I need my landline as it is my contact if something goes wrong,wonder how many other oldies are in the same boat driven silly by these calls.DO NOT CALL REGISTER DOES NOT WORK been on it for years.

This number called my private home phone number today, and when I said hello, I got no answer just heard other voices in the background. It sounded like an overseas call centre so I just hung up.

They call me too , every week .

I seriously don't understand how our no was given out as it is a private no .
I have made a couple of donations but really they are calling way to much . I'm sure they get paid a percentage of what they sell . Which makes me wonder how much is actually going to the SES .....

I'm sick to death of these arseholes! I have a very strongly worded voicemail with words to the effect that "I won't speak to people trolling for charity" among other things, but they still call but don't leave messages. May their chooks turn to emus and kick their dunnies down! If they think they'll get any money from me, forget it! My advice? Just block them (cell phone) or ignore/abuse them if you recognize the number on a landline or unblockable phone.
