Just received a call to our business 6.20PM wednesday, saying they are selling tickets for Rural fire service, not sure if this is genuine or fraudster

Rural fire.. Asked if he has run a business.. I said yes, he said he will leave me alone then.. My god! I have had 10 cold callers today.. it's Fn Rabbit season!!!

Rang my workplace and hung up in my ear without saying anything after I answered. Rude.

Received a call today stating he was from Rural Fire Service. Following is quote from http://www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/about-us/fundraising:-

Beware of bogus fundraising or advertising requests
As a general policy, the NSW RFS does not seek donations over the telephone. Any member collecting on behalf of the Service should be in full uniform and be able to readily identify themselves.
According to their web page all these calls are bogus and a scam.

If it is RFS i prefer to donate on my terms not over the phone ever.

same as all above. just keeps calling and i do not answer. just answered one time and was told nswrfs, told them not interested.

how rude, to just hang up in my ear when I answer a business telephone. don't forget we have caller id. does nothing for your cause

Another crap caller no message no nothing answering machine took there money again there loss my gain

They called my landline yesterday and when I did not answer that rang my mobile. Did not leave message.

They're legit. They're not begging, they have raffles with fantastic prizes. It's the NSW Rural Fire Services. They raise money for new equipment etc. They're a registered company with an ABN number. I've dealt with them before - I just forgot who it was when I saw their number in my messages so here I am. They're a worthy cause and, as I said, have great raffle prizes.

Just called me and woke me whilst sleeping for first time in over 36 hours following a long travel
I hope they call me back later, I will look forward to engaging them with some reciprocal time wasting, later I will engage them some more if the opportunity arises

RFS calling to sell raffle tickets. Won't stop calling even though have told them to stop.

Yep, same as above, I rang with my silent number and it's NSW rural fire service selling raffle tickets.

This number has called 3 times today. Didn't leave any messages. Have been calling for days now.
