I phoned (02) 9112 3716 and got a recorded message saying it is Kids Cancer Project

I've had several calls from this number and no message left. The calls are happening 7 days a week at random times, including the evening.

In the past I have been pestered by a kids cancer project and they were pretty aggressive. They tried to track me down whilst I was on holiday to fax an agreement!

Receiving numerous calls for some weeks now from this number, not answered per caller ID and 'they' hang up as soon as answering machine cuts in. These calls interspersed with calls from (02) 4965 9573 as I reported here tonight and I'm wondering if same 'coy'.

They also call from (02) 9112 3887. I blocked the first number so then it started with the second number. I have donated to them in the past and their major charity day is coming up but I hate being badgered about it.

They hung up as soon as I answered after the second ring. Clearly wanting me to call back. Always dubious if an unknown interstate number calls.

They are calling my mobile and I have no idea where they got my number. I've added them to the blocked caller list. Thank you for these comments. I googled the number and saw these replies.

Another nuisance number. Received calls several times. Just don't answer. Totally agree with g (15/12/15) A definite PITA.

I just received a call from this number on my mobile saying they were from epilepsy action. I asked how they had my mobile number and was told I had given it to them- I only give my number to my family, friends and clients. I asked if they had my landline to which the lady replied 'no'. This was a blatant lie- I had heard my home phone ring just before, and when I checked- it was the same number!! This is the second time I have asked these people to remove my details- they harass us at least once a week! I doubt very much that they are a genuine charity.

Block it! (02) 9112 3716 And stop wasting your time on unsolicited calls!

They said calling from kids cancer foundation and need an urgent donation, ask me to join the lottory, I remember I had bought that lottory long time ago but don't know this number is a scam or not.

I've been told Sadly K that being on the Do Not Call Register does not apply to charities or religions. My husband is good if they come to the door and just keeps pointing to the sign even if they keep on saying they don't have to abide. I am glad I used "reverse calling" and always do when I get a number I don't know and 99% of the time it's the buggers from charities - my rule for me at least, is if I want to give to a charity I will seek them out, not them bug me like this mob have.

Answered them and informed them I don't give my details out when I am solicited over the phone. I politely ask for the website and am never bothered again. Will see if that rule applies to this group

Nuisance caller, looking for charity money no doubt! From a "Foundation". Could hear all the other scammers on the phone in the background. Don't bother answering this number!

On iPhone you can block calls from any number. Once they've called you, go into call history and select the little i in a circleon the right hand side. This will bring up the number and details of time it was received. Scroll down an little and you will see Block Caller.

I'd be pretty sure that you can do this on any brand of mobile.

I'm on the Do Not Call register, but received a call from this number on my mobile phone today. They didn't leave a message.

This number called me and there was a sound of a fax machine on the other end.
I have now blocked this caller.
