ATO scam

Most defiantly a scam claiming to be the Australian Tax Office. Block this number on sight.

Yes they called me too. A scam

Received this call at 10:16am on 15.09.17 - and as soon as I answer the phone (land line) a recorded message started playing claiming to be
from the Australian Taxation Office - saying that someone has made a claim under my name (didn't say my name) and that this messages was not to be disregarded, also left this number - (02) 9099 1741 - and his name JAMES ANDERSON - and to please return the call.

Agree. A scam. I dont know how they get your number. The first call I laughed at her until she hung up. It is annoying however.

I also received this. seems like automated message. sounds very effective implanting fear.

Most probably a scam. Recorded message left. Can't return call. Claiming to be Australian Taxation Office. Can't return call.

We have just had a similar call and appears to be a scam - ignore it.
