I got a call from this number. A man seems Indian or middle east accent ask me to get a lawer for the warrant at local court.

I call back to ATO , the officer record those details and report as the scam.

Scam from company claiming to be "road care" and that I was involved in a traffic accident.

claiming to be ATO regarding tax avoidance investigation under my name. Gave me a number to call otherwise there be a legal matter. the number was (02) 9099 1741. I asked him to give me a reference number so I can call ATO on the main number they have and he hang up. be careful. always call Ato on the number they advise on their website

Received this call claiming to be the ATO which I called the ATO who said it wasn't the ATO so it would be a scam.

Yes, these low life maggots with nothing better to do, why is it that the telcos we pay our money to allow this routing of nuisance calls through their network

Called the ATO on their real listed phone number and they confirmed this was a scam.

As John said this is a scam, saying you have committed tax fraud and to call them back to sort it out before they'll take you to court! If you receive a call like this, contact the ATO (https://www.ato.gov.au/General/Online-services/Identity-security/Verify-or-report-a-scam/) and report it so they can try and shut these people down.

Scam claiming to be from the ATO, threatening court action if I didn't hang up and call a specified number to settle the debt immediately. It was a recorded message but a very clear one. Have reported to the ATO.

Indian Accent, with poor grasp of English saying that they are from the ATO, and that money is owed to them.
Threats are made to prosecute the caller if no payment is made, and that the person MUST call the above number immediately to rectify the situation...
