If they are legit why don't they leave a message instead of calling several times a day and outside the do not call times

One way I found to block them is to only give them your mobile number rather than landline number, as your mobile phone allows you to BLOCK out specific phones numbers.

It may take them a little while to realise they have been blocked and then they will start using a different number, but all you need to do subsequently is to block the new number.

The do not call register is to not get called from random people. If you have ever entered a competition, done an online survey, or anything where you have ticked the box 'I accept terms and conditions' without reading the T&Cs where it says they have the right to pass on your details to their partners, then you have accepted to be called.
Just ask them politely to get them off their call list and they are obliged to within 30 days (if they are a legitimate Australian company). It's not that hard!

I agree. One ring then hang up. I think it is about call quotas, operators can’t be bothered talking so just say they called and no one answered.

So i ordered a wine voucher through groupon to purchase a voucher at your business.. THIS WAS ALL THROUGH GROUPON....you have kept my details from when you sent my package that has my name and number.if i choose to order i do so myself...REMOVE ME AT ONCE AS I HAVE NOT GIVEN PERMISSION for TO YOU TO HARASS with constant calls .your numbers will be blocked accordingly.

These people scammed my credit card ages ago. I thought they were legitimate, had a few genuine transactions then wham they got me. Told them to never touch my credit card again, AND never call me again. But I keep getting missed calls, I fortunately check the number before calling. They are terrible people. Don't be fooled by a few reasonable transactions, and DO NOT give them your account details.

These bastards just dont let up - I have blocked so many numbers including mobiles. I have never bought wines directly through them, but via Kogan. They are now like parasites and call constantly. I'm at my wits end and about to take it further by reporting them - so I hope to f**k they read this.

I am on the do not call register and a shift worker driving a b double ,one more call waking me up and you will be in court ,if i have an prang in the truck due to your calls waking me up , and lack of sleep you will be liable ,lawyers will have it .
