I suspect this is a phishing call (TOAD) knew my name, mobile number, work and job title. Wanted to send me some info to my work email. Very high chance it would be a malicious link and if clicked, would download malware to the work’s network for malicious purposes. Don’t trust strangers wanting to send you emails with documents or links, they may use this as an attack vector to bypass your work’s security systems. Be aware and alert!

(02) 9098 4760 - what a pain in the rear - I've had 6 spam calls today just on my mobile - there's no-one on the end of the call that speaks - you can hear voices in the background so definitely a call centre - Why doesn't Telstra / Govt do something about these crank / nuisance calls - its not like free access for us - we have to pay for phone access each month!!!!!
I'd like to know what they are getting out of it - is it just nuisance factor???

Keep calling me several times a day several times a week. I don’t know the number so I’ve never answered it. But from the previous comments it sounds like it’s the same bunch of f*ck wits who are trying to perpetrate the scams that have been listed.

Definitely a scam and with that number, the Gov should follow up and find out who's it registered with and proceed to take them to court for attempt at fraud! Most likely they use that number as a diversion to make it look like it came from Australia, then the actual original call came from India via VOIP. These clowns sounded so bad, I told them to F*OFF. sh*t accent, no English what so ever, and really bad line.

Will claim to be a representative from an online brokerage (this time it was HQbroker.com). Will try to get your name, address, phone number, birthdate, and credit card number.
Played along to get the spiel, they claimed they were from London, but took 2mins to tell me the time there. Really pushy to get my Creditcard details.
Defo a phish because they waited 5mins for me to 'get my computer, it's really old, it might take a while to load windows.'

Answered, silence for around 5-7 seconds then hung up. Rang back to busy tone. More then likely a scam
