    I got called by this number they said I qualified for discount electricity. She asked me for my address and I told her that I could tell her that my meter was a control 1 and 2 meter, but she insisted that she had to know my address to tell me my discount. I did tell her my address then and she then proceeded to rattle off numbers of what I was on and what the new rate would be with them (couldn't really take it in on the phone to analyse what she was saying); she then proceeded to tell me she was signing me up and that I had a 10 day cooling off period. I had to cut in and tell her that I didn't want to be signed up at all, she asked "why" and I asked her if she could email me what she was telling over the phone and she said they could only do that after I signed up. After pressing her further about it and saying I wasn't signing up till I could see the rates for myself, she finally told me she was from Alinta energy and the website for them. I did my own homework and for us they are not cheeper than what we are getting already.

    So beware, if you give these guys your address they will sign you up without you actually agreeing to it!

    This doesn't waste their time. They will be happy to be on the call as long as possible as they use internet phone most of the time. Telstra's subcontractor company used to do it and there was a time, employee got paid on the minutes they made in a day. 300+ minutes mean you're very good.

    i ask them to call me back ..during my driving time...then keep them on the phone for as long as possible...asking them to repeat the questions and their answers, seeking more and more clarifications....then ask them to call back the next day once i checked my data...
    waste their time and having fun doing so ! :)

    (02) 9095 6910 called me today (missed call), I dialed it back and it says the number is not in service. I looked it up and saw google suggestions of similar number... I reckon same company so I will not bother picking it up if they call again. actually I will put this number under "auto reject"

    This company called me and when I said I wasn't interested - they called me back a further 6 times. When I asked to speak to the woman's manager/supervisor/boss - the woman kept telling me I was talking to her.

    Very rude!!

    When I declined their services the caller got aggressive- asking me to explain why I didn't want to sign up when I "knew nothing about the company" then hung up - extremely rude - would have considered it at another time, but not any longer...!

    Called my Grandmother's mobile number pressuring her to give them her address and personal details, no information about who they were, told her to find the details and they will call back. Bullying elderly women, nice!
