Caller: NBN phishing scam

Persistence was impressive. I pretended to follow his instructions and told him a dialogue box message appeared on my screen with the message: 'Would your mother be proud of you for lying to people and trying the steal from them?' Even then he maintained he was genuine.

Missed call received today (2/6/22) from this # (02) 9071 2844 at 11:36am.
Received another missed call from a similar # (02) 9072 2840 at 12:23pm.

No voicemail or text received by either.

Checked here & both appear to be scammers/spammers on the roll again.

Blocked & deleted both.

So glad Reverse Australia is actively supported by people - keep it up folks :)

Someone saying they were from Telstra. International people trying to use my internet connection. Made no sense.

SCAM pretend as amazon customer service to asks me to download Anydesk software to control my computer

Amazon cancellation scam. I got suspicious when they told me what banks I had accounts with (one was wrong, but two were right). They are well researched scammers by the looks.

Get a call from (02) 9071 2844 and did not pick up and blocked it straight away.

Just got a call from this number. I could barely hear what the lady was saying as the music underneath her was too loud. She also repeated herself in Chinese, or maybe it was Mandarin?

I had a woman with a very heavy foreign accent, very difficult to understand or hear, rabbited on and on about my internet causing error messages and goodness knows what else (really hard to understand) and got quite irate when I told her I didn't believe her. In the end I hung up on her.

Robocall saying it’s Amazon. Second call today with the same message but from a different number.
