They said they were checking I was wanting to proceed with a purchase I made 4 hours ago on my amazon account for 4 apple ID gift cards. Total scam as I have not purchased anything from Amazon in years.

Felt like a scam. Knew my name and email address and offered 50% off my current phone bill for 6 months. Mobile phone is with Optus though 😂 they were then trying to confirm my name email is correct

Scam call requesting authorisation for PayPal transaction. Hung up.

Said they were from Amazon and asking me to authorise a payment for a purchase I made this morning for Apple Id gift cards. Total Scam

Caller: Lady with Indian accent

Lady with Indian accent claimed to be from the “security department of Mastercard and Visa”. Asked me if I have just made a transaction.

I just hanged up.

Didn’t recognise the number so let it ring out. They didn’t leave a message. Looking at this. Spam

When I advised him I didn’t have a Telstra account, he proceeded to tell me that no matter what network I’m with, it still all falls under Telstra

Pretending from nbn support and wanting to install an app on my phone.

They rang, i let the phone ring out, then i rang back. All I got was silence.

Didn’t answer

Picked up, no sound whatsoever.

Caller: Asian male pretending to be from Visa

Male asian pretending to be from Visa - claiming unauthorised transactions on credit card.

Caller: Asian male , surname Morris (haha)

Claimed to be from the "security department of Mastercard and Visa". When I pointed out there is no such thing he hung up.
