Recorded message on my voicemail saying there was a security issue with my internet connection & to call them back. Having just got off a zoom video call with participants from around the world I wonder if it is true or just a coincidence. haven't called them back!

Bogus message asking you to call back regarding disconnection of NBN, certainly some kind of SCAM and should be shut down by authorities, perpetrators to be put in JAIL please

Same here, just answered a call from this number with a pre recorded voicemail telling me the NBN would be cancelled within 24 hours if i didnt call a number back. Definitely a scam.

Left a message on my landline answering machine.
An automated message claiming that my landline telephone and "Internet connection" is to be "disconnected" within "48 hours".
This is due to my "I.P. address" being "compromised in several countries".
Instructed to call "(02) 9055 8124" for help.
THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER.

Received a call from this number saying our internet IP addressed has been compromised and so, it will be terminated. I called back without revealing my caller ID. No answer for a couple of minutes and then came the answer saying I have called the Telstra internet security and asked for detail. I just cut the call. Please don't respond to this caller, hoax.

Hasn't it been quiet for the last 5-6 weeks whilst everybody in China has been locked down :) No spam phone calls. But definite signs that they are returning to work coz this is the 3rd spam call from this number and others like it this week... Good sing for economy I guess :)

Automated message claiming there is a security issue with our internet connection. Message kicked in when the answering machine started so only part of message was recorded from the start tone but I was present to hear the full message. Definately a scam.

I received the same automated (prerecorded message) call on my landline today, stating that my IP address has been compromised due to a security issue, and my Internet is going to be disconnected and to call them back on a particular number which was different number to (02) 9055 8124. Using my mobile rang back the number they called me on to investigate and call has an "overseas style ring tone" and american accent / message asking to leave a message as all agents are busy serving other customers. I rang them on again and made second attempt, this time this guy picked up the phone "Indian accent"
NOTE: THIS IS A DOGGY SCAM CALL. DO NOT ACTION THE CALL. NO ONE IS GOING TO DISCONNECT YOUR INTERNET IF CONCERNED CALL YOUR TELCO COMPANY!
