Not a real person....I blocked the number and since that other numbers ring.

Call was disconnected immediately after i said " hello"

Received a call from (02) 9051 2542. Caller ID stated it was from Sydney Australia. I answered it and heard a short sharp tone before the call ended. When I rang the number back I was immediately put on hold to listen to classical music with a robotic voice telling me to hold on as my call was very important and I would be put onto an 'agent' shortly. Was on hold for a number of minutes listening to the same thing over and over before I hung up. Have now blocked the number, however have been receiving similar calls from different numbers over the last couple of weeks - every time I block the number and they just ring back on another.

So gather each time I block one they call on another one.... No msg or details on call back so OBV not important that they talk to me so

Dont answer these unknown calls as most ring in order too get your details and information towards bank accounts, address and numbers. Also is better not to block but ignore later as will just use multi other numbers have. Sometimes if dont block will give up after few days, an sometimes weeks or months.

Yes they do have multiple different numbers so if answer first an block will continue with others. However if just let ring might still for few days an then give up after.

Rang twice. Second time I answered and they just hung up.

Came up on my mobile as a missed call, but phone hadn't even rang. I rang back on a land line with "no caller ID". Automated robotic voice said "Your call is important and you will be transferred to an agent". No mention of company. Then I was on hold with classical music for a while before deciding it was shonky. (I have added this number, and all the similar listed above, to my address book under "scam").

They hung up when I answered.

Caller: Claimed to be Nextsteps

Identified themselves as NextSteps charity. They didn’t address me by name. I asked how they got my number, said whitepages (numbers not listed). Told the lady to remove my number from their list. Suspect scam
