Assam stated he was with microsoft and wanted to renew my licence over the phone with me. Dont have any licences with microsoft and he left a melbourne number to call back him back (he was calling from (02) 9037 3805). A bit suss...

Email supposedly from Amazon with a confirmation order for a laptop. No we didn't buy one. The hook is a "Help Page" for more information. Presumably this is where you fall down the rabbit hole. The phone number they have on it is this one stated above. "If you did not place this order please contact (02) 9037 3805 (Fraud Security Team)". Yeah right!!

Caller: Norton Lifelock ?? Subscription renewal from a company I do not and have not dealt with. Email states $299.0 will be deducted from my checking account to renew an antivirus protection which i also do not contribute to.
I believe Its an obvious scam from poorly educated indians, Thanks should go to TELSTRA for starting their phone rooms overseas
