I answered, but no-one spoke back. I called back number (02) 9015 3806 reached IVR for Vodafone. Caller: Vodafone
Picked up and took a while to answer back. Vodafone Offering new plan, didn’t feel safe giving details over the phone. Told them I would go in store
Caller: Maybe Vodafon
Asked for my 4 digit pin straight away. A reputational problem, as caller had an Indian accent. If companies are legit, they should know by now the consequences of an Indian accent.
When I picked up and said hello there was complete silence, but when I listened really carefully I could smell bad breath. Answered the call, received high pitched screech, so I hung up They’ve tried to call me 5 times in the last day Caller: Said they were from Vodafone.
Called offering deals, and asked for my pin.
I said I would call Vodafone.
Caller: I don't know
glad of these reports -- I don't pick up numbers I don't know these days -- I'll check in their shop
Unknown Tell me why our carriers cant block these idiots...They are using Aussie numbers ...and they are doing nothing about it...forget climate change...i want my my security back on my phone... no answer when call received. Caller: Some c*nt
Caller: Don't know
Called me twice in consecutive days. When I answered a silence. I did not speak again as I suspected a robocall. I have now blocked the number. Thanks to the forum for identifying this number as an issue.
I looked it up its one of vodafones contact numbers it is listed on their website its for new offers to their Vodafone customers Caller: Unknown
Claim to be Vodafone with offers, sounds like an overseas call Centre/phone scam and immediately asked for phone pin. Hung up and told them to F off as not interested. They keep calling - about 10 times in last week.
Yeah it's defintely Vodafone from an Indian call centre. Genuine attempts at trying to update your plan or phone.
I've had several dealings with them, i've just been politely declining any of the offers.
Caller: (02) 9015 3806
This is the third time today this number has called me, answered the first 2 times and just got a high pitched screechy sound. Didn't answer the third call. No...make that 4 times, phone is ringing as i am doing this. Same number. So much for being on the Do Not Call register.
