An automated voice from EBAY saying a transaction to the value of $499 would be debited from my account. Please press 1 to approve or 2 to cancel. I hung up and called the number back and it keeps dropping out when called back. Sounds like a complete scam.

Directed the call to my voice mail and received a message from allegedly the fraud squad. It claimed an illegal transaction was made on my behalf. Definitely suspicious and is probably a scam.

Caller: (02) 9000 9954 Call recording claiming to be from fraud squad tracking an illegal transaction that was being made for $1500 on my visa card asking me to press 1 if I did not authorise. I hung up and called the number back and it keeps dropping and wont connect when called back. Beware do not press 1 or give any info this sounds like a complete scam.
