Number has called me yesterday and today. I answered today, and after 10 secs of silence and me saying "Hello.....Helloooo......HELOOOOO" I hung up. Just as I pulled the phone away and pressed hang up, a voice said "Sorry I...." and I hung up LOL.

Called asking if I got the Optus letter re my mobile plan and wanted a long conversation about different plans I could use. Told her was busy and any such details should be sent in writing. Got angry with her and told her 'by mail only'. She hung up very quickly. All such info by mail Optus - don't trust phone calls....

Just had a second call from this number - woke me up - and stopped ringing before I could get to the phone.

I am receiving continual calls from Optus on number (02) 8956 7000.
The calls hang up on answering. On calling back a recorded message from Optus is received giving Optus service numbers and then hangs up.
This is unacceptable behaviour from Optus. And when you try to email Optus on their website, a message is received that they are having technical difficulties, and the email fails.

Several missed calls from 8956-7000, no message ever left. Then I called 8956-7000 and a RUDE WOMAN answered and tried to get ALL of my personal details. I gave my full name so she could bring up my Optus details to further confirm anything else. To this, she hung up. OUTRAGEOUS behavior from Optus, was TOTALLY SHOCKED!

Legit call. Follow up phone call about a new order that I'd placed with Optus. Only rang for 3 rings, and didn't leave a message.

I made a complaint to Optus about local internet congestion & slow downloads. They called back on this number but did not leave a message which is an error on their part. Why not add "legitimate business" to your call type drop down box.

Optus - Legit courtesy call. The same staff called back couple of weeks later to check (just a follow up as they said they would) if I was still being billed twice for same call and reassured it would be fixed when I get my next invoice. They had fixed it as I received my bill few days ago. And they still made a courtesy call to check. Nice courtesy. Thought i'ld just come here as it was a random number.

received 2 calls . BUT I did contact Optus about broadband and asked to be called back. When I asked them to stop, they stopped.

This is Optus customer service. They were calling me back with a query about a phone I ordered online.

They ring but when I answer the phone there is no one there, however the line is still open.

Received several calls from this number - no message left. The last call I answered and it was a very rude lady screaming at me to stop calling this (her) number and asking for my details. I checked the calls on my phone (in case the phone dialed something on its own????), but there is no record of this number being called from my phone. I guess someone thinks she is smart enough to get easy access to other people's personal information.

I've had 5 missed calls from them in the past two days. I haven't answered it but it's getting ridiculous.

A return confirmation call from Optus after ordering something. Not a sales call.
