Calls like this are part of the reason I got an Android phone.

I got a call from this number just now, after finding this site I added the number to my contacts and set the contact to "block list".

Now the next time they call I won't even know. Brilliant!

Called saying she was from Virgin. Then advised the call was being recorded for my protection. She said it casually unlike normal call centre people. Sounded odd!
Then she asked me to confirm my 6 digit pin...and I hung up on her!

This number called me multiple times last year and it was virgin seeing whether I'm happy with the service. They started calling me again for the last few weeks and ring about 5 days a fortnight as I didn't pick up ( at work). But this week they called me at 9 am Saturday morning to see if I wanted to upgrade. I told them to stop hassling me with multiple phone calls. They have now taken me off the register. Just because My phone service is with them doesn't mean they should hassle us with telemarketing. Next time I'm leaving virgin.

I have this call three or four times a week and the same result, no number when I return the call its very frustrating. I'm not interested in virgins customer service calls and they keep persisting. Unsolicited anything is not good and should be banned !!!!!!!!

Same same, theyre calling me around 4 times a morning, and about once in the late afternoon. Funny thing is, Virgin has been good - good signal, no dropouts and no annoying / hang up calls ... till now! (5/2013)

When I try to call back i get a recorded message saying OPTUS advises this number is disconnected.

Caller identified herself as Virgin Mobile. Asked how I found the service. Started telling her of a problem and she hung up on me midsentence. Have complained to Virgin.

i have had 9 missed calls over 5 days, they even call on a sat. when i pick up they hang up, when i call back, the number is disconnected. very frustrating, i am glad my virgin contract is almost up, they are just wasting my time. this is the last straw for me. over them!

This number just rang me three rings and they didnt leave message very rude if it's to do with trying to sell me sh*t well they can go to hell. My mob is registered on donotcall site if this number rings again it will be reported.
