I called back the number (02) 8824 8769 but the call didn't go through

Automated scam call. Trying to tell me my “Internet is down” and getting me to press through “to get it reconnected”.

Received call from said number around 6:10pm. Did not answer seem by comment here scam call number.

Repeat calls that I have not answered. No message left.

Called to say he was part of the government initiative to change over the shower heads to water saving ones. When i said i wasn't interested he then abused me with plenty of expletives

Absolute vile person that made threats as I told them I wasn’t interested in purchasing whatever they were selling.

I missed the call. Thought I would reverse look it up and I am glade I did. I will block the number.

Said he was from the victorian government. Wants to change my LED lights.
I told him it was misleading to say he was from the government. He said your are right, and continued to ask how many downlight I have. I said "all mine are LED's" he said "You mother f*cker, don't waste my time" and hung up.

Caller: Said Australian government

Said Australian government needed to change all my lights over tomorrow for free. And roughly how many did I have. I said well you not it’s not my house to make those decisions he called me an f**king b*tch and hung up.

typical scam call like the other comments above,, told them it doesnt sound like fxxxxxxx Telstra and blocked

This number called my mobile, three rings only, insufficient time to answer. Checked number here, so will not be calling back. Will block number from my mobile.

(02) 8824 8769 called with automated recording saying that my internet will be cut of in 2-4hrs by Telstra and to press 1 to speak to a person. I pressed 1 and a man answered with clearly an Indian accent. After explaining that I'm not with Telstra why did I get this call. The Indian man said "get lost" then quickly hung up. Scam artist who obviously felt they could not scam me...

On answering my phone it was a robo recording, I pressed to speak with someone and I got a non Australian person. I said to remove my number from your call list. She hung up.
I called back and got the number is disconnected.

Message was my router was going to be disconnected in 4hrs and to press 1 to connect to my provider. I hung up and rang my internet provider as I am relocating but not for a few weeks yet so wanted to make sure they had everything right . they advised me it was a scam and to block the number.
