Agree entirely. The first time they rang, I asked them how they got my number, and was told it was because I had bought a ticket in their car raffle. Makes me think twice about doing that again now too!

didn't even wait for me to answer. not going to ring it back after reading the complaints. now blocked also.

These places don't necessary hang up on you. The way they work is that they use automatic diallers so it makes no difference if your number is unlisted or not. They dial a lot of number at a time and as soon as someone answers others are automatically hung up on which is why they seem silent. If you're on the do not call register then you can make a complaint.

This number calls the place I work at least twice a day. Sometimes I run to the phone just to be hung up on! Very frustrating.
