Got a call from this number - claimed to be from CBA - seemed a bit dodgy...so I called up CBA to find that it was in fact legitimate ... so don't worry !!

Lady rang saying she was from the CBA. Wanted to send me details that she was from the CBA, got very insistent about my details when I said I was not interested. Just hung up on her, no one is getting my details over the phone unless I know them. Lastly, I don't use the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

The caller identified as he was calling from commonwealth bank an wanted to help with if I have any questions regarding getting a loan or refinancing to cheaper rates sounded very doggy and before hang up he said he will proof he was genuine by SMS me my details but nothing came what a scammer!!

When you call the number it is cba but the indian call centres hijack australian business numbers - beware

They asked for name/ dob/ address. I declined and they said they could verify they were legit but sending something to my commbank app. However he said his program had crashed so he would have to call later to verify.
Ive worked in IT and that sort of thing does happen sometimes but still, doesnt help when it comes to legitamizing a callers ID hahah

She said I would be removed from getting any further calls regarding this

If this was legit, why didn't they leave a message when I didn't answer? Sounds dodge.

Missed the call and when i called them back got a automated message from Combank and they started by asking my Acc and BSB numbers. Seems pretty dodgy to me

Surprisingly the number and the call about home loans is legitimate.

Thought it was a scam as well but called CBA and they confirmed the department that called, the time of the call and who I spoke with.

Missed call, didn't leave a message.

This is CBA. I was looking on the CBA website about home loans then a few days later got a call from this number. It is legitimate and they are calling if you have enquired about something online.

Want to get my bank details. completely funny.

They keep calling me baby but they don’t say my name

Interestingly the commonwealth bank has a FAQ page where they say the number is "(02) 8629 4003", not "(02) 8629 4004" (the last digit is a 3 rather than a 4)

Hung up a call from the actual CBA number after being on hold for 45 minutes to answer this number from people claiming to be CBA about future home loans. I have never mentioned once about home loans to any of the ladies at my branch. CBA never call out. Like ever. Do not give any personal details to them this is definitely a scam! Will be complaining once i get on to the real CBA

This number called me today at 4.03pm with ID of Blacktown New South Wales. Dont pick up the call. just ignore, he asked me about bank details.
