Knew my name. Asked if I needed a home loan, as they tracked my activity on the app. They said in order to close the account they need to verify me over the phone to close the enquiry. VERY ODD. Do not trust. Do not give further information. Call your local CBA branch directly.

Claim saying that I applied for a home loan and they wanted to help by asking details wrong move SUCKER!!!!.Funny I never applied for a home loan.When I did call back they picked up in no time unlike Comm bank they "keep you hanging on the line" like Blondie LOL.

Called but didn't leave message.

Ph no. (02) 8629 3714 came up as a scam call from Blacktown. The caller asked for payment of my overdue CBA home loan. His name was Gaeton Nouyo {?} When I called the number back it went to message bank and I have not recieved a return call. Very very dodgy and unsettling. How did they get my information.

I had a call from ph no. (02) 8629 3714. My Caller Id displayed the call to be a spam call from location of Blacktown. The callers name sounded like a male Gaeton Noyo (?). Started asking for payment for my overdue CBA home loan. I have got no idea who this would be and the situation is quite upsetting. I have also tried to call "Gaeton" back with no response.

I contacted CBA and asked if this is scam and they said there was a call made to me by them at 430. but it was 432 when they called. but sounds like its legit

Rang me at 6:15pm on Christmas Eve(!) to check if I was happy with my home loan (which is with a different bank anyway).

This is Commonwealth bank. Called asking if i was interested in any home loan products. I said yes and then they said they could send a message through commonwealth bank inbox which they did. and then they asked for personnel details. Then they organised a time to have some one call about meeting for loan refinancing.

Not a scam number.

Not a scam. They sent a verification message through the NetBank app. Just doing a health check and asking whether there are any services you’re interested in. In other words - a marketing call.

Got call from female who said she was from CBA. Asked whether I wanted any assistance in doing home loan etc, I said no. She asked if it was ok to receive calls like this from CBA from time to time, I said no. She said in order to be taken off the list I had to verify my details.......????? Very bizzare given they should already have them if they called me. I hung up as soon as this was asked.

Called and stated they were from CBA wanting to know about future property aspirations, then wanted to confirm my identity. I gave no details. Literally 2 minutes later phones rings twice and hangs up from a number listed in Tunisia. Coincidence???

The guy called me from this number on Saturday afternoon about 3pm. Asking about my financial and ask my details, stupidly I told them, after they gave me a confirmation from my cba inbox message. After hung up and I start worried if this was legit or not. Will contact CBA tomorrow

First time I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
The second time I answered and they hung up immediately.
I wont be answering again.

got a call from this number and didn't answer as I don't know anyone in Blacktown. I rang back on a different number and the lady answered but didn't say she was from the CBA until I asked her who she was. She asked for my name, bank number and password so she could identify me to be able to give me some help. Dum arse as if.

Got a call from this number on Saturday afternoon. Looked it up before answering. I don’t bank CBA and never would, so didn’t answer and they chose not to leave a message. I suggest that if the call is legit, and they want to be taken seriously, they at least leave a message.

Hi, the same number called me today too.Claiming to be from CBA asking if I needed any home loans.I told him that quite dodgy since I have been CBA customer for over 3o years and it’s the first time I ever receive such call.He refused to provide me his full name but wanted my combank details to he send verification reference number to.My reply ??? Absolutely not !! No personal details !!
Very dodgy and extremely suspicious.

Called - no messages - too many scams going on at the moment - don't give your details out for any reason......
