I called back number (02) 8597 9236 reached IVR for a company called RSPCA.

they keep calling from various numbers. I gave them money once and now they don't give up.

These guys do piss me off a little, I regularly donate to the RSPCA (monthly), in order to avoid these calls which they promised when I signed up, then they call again and try to give me 'bonus' tickets or something. I don't want tickets, I just want to donate to the animals and for these guys to shove their head up their butts.

They mentioned their website www.rspcaraffle.com.au. Is this a scam?

This call was like a fever dream. Older woman was obviously some kind of volunteer with no cold calling sales experience. Long meandering conversations about cruelty to animals, asking about my pets, talking about her love of cats. Had to ask repeatedly what the call was actually for. Seems like the RSPCA is having a legit raffle and spam calling people to buy tickets.

Like you, I also get call after call after call from various numbers.
I asked them to remove my name from their database twice now and it means nothing....
I get a call EVERY DAY - from different numbers... - I call that Harassment

They fund raise for the RSPCA (a company called Insight). They’re not scammers but annoying!
