This number is driving me nuts. It is iprimus promoting nbn etc however the first time I spoke to them I told them I wasn't interested and eventually I had to hang up (and I am not a rude person).... The SAME woman rang again that night and I told her that what I had said earlier In the day still stands and to take me off the list. I heard nothing for two days and now I have had two calls again which as I now recognise the number I am not answering! These call centres are too much!

Here's one for you - 23 times they have called today - Ring the number back it says you have been called by iprimus & then hangs up on you. How is this not an offence using carriage services to harass people - oh yeah it is especially when your number is listed on DO NOT CALL REGISTER.

A cursory search for this number reveals a lot of similar issues and reports of similar harassment as per http://www.reverseaustralia.com/lookup/(02) 8583 4217/ While most posts on the above link point the blame to another ISP, I believe this is probably not the case and it is a non-affiliated telemarketing company that is calling you. As it appears it is calling from the same number each time, I'm happy to point you to some instructions on blocking this if you wish. What model phone are you using? - Reece

Iprimus wanting to "reduce my bill". Basically wanting me to put my house phone through the NBN which I refuse to do because its not very reliable. Told them that their constant 5+ calls to both mobile and house phone are classed as Harassment and if they continued I would be contacting the ombudsman.
