Just had another call from these parasites...they hound me but all I can do is pick it up & not speak....I figure it is good to annoy them if I can

Numerous calls over many days, when answer machine picks up they've hung up

I have been getting calls from this number recently. The first time they rang up, I told them I do not have time for them and did not want them to ring me again. But they persist. I have now blocked the number on the home phone and hope any call from it doesn't get through in the future.

Agree with Ron.....as a small business we are bombarded daily with nuisance calls and e-mails. But yes, have to answer the phone politely in case it is a customer. Get home only to have the same thing happen here. We are also on the Do Not Call Register, but that obviously does not stop them.

Received at least 4 calls in the last 2 days. As has been said above you get the delay before anyone speaks, the quality of the line is indicative of an overseas call and sometimes my phone displays "OVERSEAS (02) 8520 3346". Bottom line is use any of the language above, whatever makes you feel good, including not to call again!!!

Tell-tale delay before speaking. Claimed to be charity. I told them I didn't have time and hung up.

BEWARE...!! INDIA SCAMMERS, Don't tell them anything except F#%K OFF. Trying to get access to your computer....!!!

Hung up phone when answered. I found their website through this page, there was an opt-out that required private information to use it, so I messaged them the following:

"OFFICIAL NOTICE: Please stop calling 07 4xxx xxxx and hanging up when answered. If you call THIS NUMBER again for any reason, then I reserve the right to claim damages from you for emotional stress, as well as damages for the cost of the time it takes to answer the phone and attend to the calls as I DO NOT WORK FOR FREE. My standard fee of $180 per hour or part thereof applies and by making any further calls to this number signifies agreement to pay this charge on demand."

When they ask if it is you say "No, hold on I'll get them" and then leave the phone off the hook and walk off for half an hour. Let them pay the bill !!!!

Answered a call from this number (the one above) but it Caller ID also showed OVERSEAS.
The curry muncher said he was calling for Australia's biggest charities.
When I asked who was the biggest charity he answered Oxfam, rspca, as well a a heap of others.
He then said the call was being monitored and recordered.
It was at this point that I stated you have three seconds, I then told him to piss off and then hung up.
This stinking call wasted time and as a business we answer all calls.
The problem here is the call we don't answer may be a client that wanted to book our services.
Between spam emails and these bloody telemarketers I have had a gut full!

Called at about 11-10am 18 January 2014. Answered phone and caller hung up immediately. Just plain annoying

Drops out as soon as you answer.

Rings, no answer from the other end, then hangs up. Most frustrating.

Automated response - sounds overseas voice

As the numbers show on my phone , I then check this website to see what status they are , legit or otherwise , and I am now keep a list of these numbers by my phone , so when they ring , I pick up and put on loudspeaker but don't say anything . They hang up pretty quickly . Has worked nicely so far , giving abit of their own back in their faces
