Just stored the number in my caller list and then barred calls from that number. Will see how it works

Just started getting this crap call, when you answer it hangs up, I will put the number onto redirection to the Perth zoo answering machine or TIM the talking time recording for New York (at the sound of the beep etc), My phone won't ring from that number and as they made the call they pay for it. They are a real nuisance.

I've called the number back and the number "is not connected". I am also on DNCR.

I am forever getting calls from this number. Soon as I answer the call they hang up. I am fed up with there calls.

I don't think the 'Do Not Call' register applies to this type of caller, as they appear to be an overseas, non-legit business. They don't plan to play by the rules. I don't even think autodiallers are legal are they?

have just listed them as a blocked call on my caller ID, that way we don't answer. Unfortunately they have discovered our number in the last month and call me more than my Mum does. We are in Oz and receive the calls

We believe it’s a company called MyCharitySurvey.com.

Have they been hanging up on you? They use an autodialer to dial loads of numbers at once – if you’re not the first person to answer, the autodialer hangs up on you.

Oh, and don’t be fooled. They are not calling you from Sydney, but rather from overseas.

I receive messages on my voicemail from these people every day. I went to their website - mycharitysurvey.com - and left my details. First name "pissed", surname "off", email "pissed.off @ DONOTCALLME.net", along with my phone number and postcode. Perhaps if we all did this, they would stop calling! I'm on the "do not call register" but it seems to make no difference to these people :\

They ask for name and email address so I just put down a fake name and stopcallingme @ painintheass.com for email address.

Can you tell me how to block these calls on a home phone? Like everyone, heartily sick of these calls.

Multi-calling scammers. No-contact calls are not intended to be pranks! These fraudsters like many legitimate marketers dial up a numbers of calls at the same time. When one answers, the rest drop out. If you drop out your number remains on their "to be dialled" list until such time as you do answer.

Absolute waste of time... constant calls and always Indian voices, saying they are from charity. I just hang up.
