Just received a call from this number where they asked to speak to the business owner (naming them specifically). I asked what it was with regards to and they informed me that it was about "a contract" and that they could only speak to the owner. After trying to get more information she became quite cagey and refused to provide any more information and asked that she leave a message to say that "Melanie called from OBC with regards to the contract, and they the owner would know what it's about". What a sham and complete waste of time this company is!

The OBC calls are doing the rounds again, i just received one that is almost word for word identical to the one reported by Sara.

I called back number (02) 8488 8391 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Didn’t get to the phone in time and they didn’t leave a message but from reading other ppls response it’s probably from Optus. Which amuses me as my office just got a phone call from them too and has set up a meeting with them to go over our phone systems. They will be coming out tomorrow so will see what they have to say.

Its Optus Business Centre - They refer to themselves as OBC as well - They usually have sourced someone's name in the company. Just hang up. I've written to Optus to complain but nothing happens

Phoned twice specifically asking for the business owners name, asking how many mobile and land line numbers we have connected etc. Fishing for information. Very persistent and pushy girl on phone.

They called and insisted on talking to the business owner. I asked where she was from - she said OCB. I asked what it was regarding - she said she had only to speak with him. I said he'll call you back. She said she's busy all day. I hung up. I then called back a few times - disconnected.

I received a call from (02) 8488 8391 purporting to call from a company called OBC and wanting to tell me about Optus Services. When I asked for an email to be sent, the caller hung up. I called the number back and was immediately disconnected
