Indian telemarketing about insurance etc

Received a call last week from this number, I answered and they hung up. Great. So they called again today and I spoke to a woman who asked if I had any insurance. Then she started talking about funeral insurance, I told her I was 21 and had no need, so she was wrapping up and I asked how she got my full name and phone number - told me "www.australiandataservices.com.au" that website gave it to her company. So I've messaged that company to see where they got it from.
Yet to hear back.

TL:DR - insurance tele marketing company.

An indian girl called and spoke for few minutes with a strong accent and trying to sell me or promote something, hung her up as I could not understand her after she was trying to repeat the same sentences few times.

Blocked the number after a call on Wednesday, they called back on a different number on Thursday. Don't answer it.

They told me they from insurance and they got my number from the Australian Telephone directory database. They are telemarketing company beware.

Was asked by female caller with an Indian accent if I had heard of a company called "Insurance Line". No I haven't, so hung up & blocked.

asking for bank details and said i have an account with westpac but the problem is I dont! - scammers!!

This is a telemarketing call trying to sell Insurance. Even if you tell them your not interested they will STILL ask if you've seen their ad on TV, ask what insurance your currently with etc. Don't bother answering if you get a call from this number.

It was really a surprise this number (02) 8417 8000 (Indian lady acent) called my office direct line, saying she was from RPS, but did she get my office direct line???

You know its a pest when they hang up before voicemail, don't leave a message, and keep calling because they want to speak to you. How do you get rid of these parasites ?
