I have stopped bothering to see who is on the other end. I say nothing on my end - simply press accept call - then promptly hang up. I have noticed if you do this a few times - their dialing system stops dialing my number. I do this with EVERY unknown number - my nuisance calls have reduced to about 4 a week from 4-5 a day. When I spoke with Telstra they said there is no point reporting the number - they simply book out a new block of business numbers and so stay one step ahead of being traced. Cheers - hopes this helps :O)

If you guys want to reduce telemarketers from calling, just register to the Do Not Call Register. No charge. No Problem :) You're Welcome

If you don't answer, they keep putting your number back into the dialing system. It's a robot calling and when you answer, the call drops through to them. If no consultants available when you answer, the robot hangs up on you. I worked 2 years in this sh*t and know how they work. They will keep calling. Best way to make it lesson or go away is to ANSWER and speak for a minute. Then hang up. It registers as a call made at their end and you shouldn't get another call for atleast 3-6 months. Try it:)

Definitely tele-marketing of sorts - answered the call, didn't say a thing and the line just disconnects. Must be computer generated. Buggers.
