Scammers ...allege ...They have been given a file that I have been in a minor accident & I have money due ...they know my name & attempt to obtain other details from me ... bank acct etc ...they keep ringing me never leave a message...I block their numbers ...they just use another one ...

(02) 8355 9972 keep ringing me..I don't have anyone who would rING me from that prefix so didn't answer...the only couple of times I have they've hung up straight away...scam I'd say

i just answed a call from this number, the person asked me by name!! I could not understand his thick American accent-Rude key he said, I said that back to him, he said no rude key, then he spelt ROAD CARE.. he said that I was involved wtih a traffic accident a while ago. I said no. He then asked if anyone else would be using my address. I said I hope not. I then asked him to tell me more about his company and he hung up. SICKO!!!

They have called 3 times this year 3 or 4 last year. I keep telling them I don't have a car.

they called me and i just didn't answer, look up the number on google and saw all these comments. called back and its the UK car accident line. IM AUSTRALIAN.

Very annoying caller. Keeps ringing + ringing !! If I call back, they hang up on me :'(

road tek from uk selling safety stuff

Got some details from me and started to call me 'honey' and 'love', transferred the call and the same person answered, English is not my first language so is really hard to understand people with strong accent over the phone, so It got me for a while, I really had someone hitting my car in the next 12 months. They got my plate number and car details, will it bring me any problems?

Scam about a car accident that didn't happen.

They call and never leave message. When I answered they hang up. When I called back it was some automated service in the uk. I took my number off the call list following the prompts and they still called me its so annoying.

I have been receiving calls from this number on my mobile daily now - I know they are scammers and I would like to put a stop to them calling my number.
Anyone know how?

These animals constantly call me and make up crap that I had an accident. I know they are lying but I love wasting their time. I tell them I had three accidents and ask them to tell me which one they are talking about. Amazingly, they have the nerve to get smart with me... not for long. I push to know where they are so I can come and see them in person - of course they never tell me the address. I then tell them I'm calling the Police, ASIC and the ACCC.

These people are the scum of the Earth. If they call you curse their family. In the East, if you curse someone's family verbally, it can be quite confronting. The purpose of cursing these animals' families is to make them think twice about their disgusting, criminal profession.

Just received the call myself re: traffic accident in the last 12 months and you are owed compensation. I started asking a lot of questions ...and then she hung up...at least they won't call my number again (hopefully!!)

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Tried to tell me I was in a car accident in the last 12 months and that my name had been given to them from the Accident Management Database.

Call relentlessly. Called me nasty and uncooperative when I asked them what car when and where. being my usual charming self, kept pressing for more information which I knew they didn't have as I haven't had an accident (touch wood). Was fun playing their little game tho. Btw I have no filter on my mouth and they didn't like it very much.

Constantly calling my work mobile and never leaving a message. Tried returning the call to find out who they were and what they wanted, but only got a voicemail message saying 'You have been contacted by Road Care UK' but don't worry we will contact you again shortly'. Have now blocked the number.

It's driving me crazy. They call, but hang up. If you call them back, you just get the auto message. Apparently you can tell it to stop calling you, but it just KEEPS CALLING.

Told me all the above. Got my info from some report. Told her I will report it!
