Had this number attempt to call me 2 days in a row. I never answer numbers I don't know. If they are legit, they can leave a message. They didn't. I am with the NDIS and was dealing with them at the time this number tried calling me. But like with so many others who have received calls from this number. My experience has been, the NDIA or NDIS have always come up private. Thanks for all those ppl that have left comments. They are always a great help. Caller: NDIS? NO

It is the No1 Scam at the moment, I was also asked to do a survey obviously refused.
He could not supply a reference number or any validation.
Anyone can leave any recording on an answering service it does not make it legitimate.
Be safe ... don't be scammed.
Someone claiming they were from the NDIS called from this number... telling me of my sons eligibility etc... hes been part of the scheme for 3 years now so I now that was a bit suss... asking me for information and I told them that if they are actually calling from the NDIS they should have all of this anyway.... I called the number back and it had a recorded message saying that you have called NDIS but I know from experience that they only give out a 1300 number to call through on and on the rare occasion they do call it comes up with private number.... so please beware Caller: Scammer claiming to be from the NDIS
We are an NDIS provider. This number called saying there was a problem with one of bulk uploads to MyPlace. They said it did not upload properly. It sounded fishy because we have had no such problems with bulk uploads. They started to ask for my personal contact details to verify me, at which point I said no thank you. I called the 1800 number for the NDIS, explained what had happened, and they confirmed it was a scam attempt.
NDIS/NDIA - They gave me their name and a reference number plus the 1300 number to call back to check authenticity.
Caller: NDIS or fraudulently
The very fact that some people don’t know if it is legitimate NDIS or not tells me that NDIS needs to verify on their website that it is a LEGITIMATE NUMBER OR IT ISNT?
Legit. But unwarranted.
I did a pet insurance comparison quote 4 months ago. They keep calling even though I told them I actually don’t want to pursue and I’m terminating with Bupa pet insurance as it’s ridiculous. They keep putting my premiums up and it’s not a regulated industry unlike human insurance.
Please stop calling me back.
Caller: NDIS IT Team
This number is NOT a scam, they called me today and I work for a NDIS provider. They helped complete my IT ticket and fixed the issue. This is a real number, they confirmed and had all my details and IT ticket number.
Legitimate caller - verified staff member's account number through the NDIA 1300 number in a separate phone call before accepting their call a second time. Call was regarding new provider set up & a user feedback survey

We encourage participants to be aware of potential scams with people claiming to be from the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) attempting to collect personal details via telephone, email or social media.
We contact people by phone for the purpose of completing a verbal access request to become a participant in the NDIS.
If this occurs, the NDIA will ask for certain personal information over the phone, but will only request this information after explaining the purpose of asking for it and seeking your consent to proceed.
If you are already a participant in the NDIS, the NDIA may contact you directly by phone or email to advise you that we required additional information or to update our records. In these instances we will explain the purpose of asking for this information and ask that you either:
Visit your nearest NDIA, Local Area Coordinator or Early Childhood Early Intervention Partner office
Contact the 1800 800 110 number
We will never require you to provide personal information or threaten to cancel your NDIS plan unless you provide personal details by phone. If you are unsure about whether a person calling you is from the NDIA, you can ask for their name and number and call the Agency back.
If you believe it is a scam please report it to fraudprevention @ ndis.gov.au (link sends e-mail), your local NDIA contact or call 1800 800 110. They will be able to confirm whether the caller was from the NDIA.

NDIS wouldn’t phone me because they know I’m deaf. Normally they sent me text or email with all their names details- that way I can check with my support coordinator if they’re real.
Should be on cautious by not giving any information out. So yeah this number must be scammers.. thanks for the tips from others here.
Called by Geoff -GF0022-conducting NDIS survey and he left 1800 800 110 afterI refused to supply personal identification details. In turn, I called this 1800 number which i was told is a legitimate NDIS NATIONAL survey CONTACT NUMBER and was informed that the call was From that of an authorised survey and that the call was logged in 🔍!
That being the case, I didn’t call back because I don’t like surgery or surveys unless I’m conducting them❗️
I do get lots of '02' area code numbers that are overseas, but this one is actually NDIS, who I deal with regularly. Although the recorded message is sketchy, I did end up speaking with an Aussie, who was able to confirm details on NDIS records.
recorded message will disconnect my landline
It is a legit NDIS Survey.
It was the NDIS. I called the 1800 number to confirm it was them calling me. I am a provider. I didn't want to give my details out to an unsolicited caller without being sure who it was.
Caller: NDIS with Indian accent
Same deal as posted before, he wanted my details to confirm my identity so he could complete our review. When I said I didnt want to give my details he said no worries I will send you an email. Bit of a coincidence that I've received calls from this number twice today and our new plan was just approved yesterday, with me sending an email to our planner earlier today asking a couple of questions. I dont like coincidences like that, how did they know?
The (02) 8331 4419 appears to be an NDIS number however when the call came through I could see the call was diverted from a mobile number. Unfortunately I didnt get the mobile number. It all seems a bit odd because the NDIS office is closed for Christmas / New Year break Caller: NDIA
This is a legitimate number. Received a call from this number & spoke to the caller. Checked this site afterwards & worried all night. Rang the NDIA on their 1800 number which I found on their government website. They checked their call log for our account & confirmed that they had called us & that the info given to me by the caller was all correct.
