ATO SCAM - rang them back and when he asked for my name i said no and said i wanted his name - he hung up - how do they get away with this crap

This number is still circulating as a caller from the ATO. Only leave a message on message bank, will not talk to you if you answer the phone call

I received two calls related to this phone number claiming to be from the ATO, on Friday 13th May and Tuesday 17th May. This makes the 5th or so time I've received this call over the last 2 to 3 years. It's a scam, ignore it.

Got this today on the answering machine. This dɨckface upset my wife. There's a reason why their shɨtbag race cops a beating here and it's because fcukfaces like this one give them ALL a bad name. The Government is pɨssweak too because they won't get these pricks under control.

The person calling from this number claims to be from ATO Tax Fraud unit and threatens to issue an arrest warrant for tax fraud. They've called twice....very persistent and hard to understand.

Same as others, pre recorded message of an indian woman named "Jenny" claiming to be from the ATO, threatening to seize my assets and sign my arrest warrant.

Yep it's another scam...I reckon it's a recording that the scammers play to all of us Aussies threatening legal action blah blah blah... sounds like an African accent, couldn't understand the B***h, has anyone called this number back?

Received a recording message on my house phone. Left a threatening message to take legal action and possess my property if I do not respond. Number provided to return call immediately is (02) 8317 3564 claiming they are from ATO.

message left to call her back extremely threatening and rude. Clearly a fraud call claiming I have committed tax fraud. No name left, call not directed to a specific person. I ignored the call.

I am a Tax Agent & had a client who received a call like this today. It is a complete fraud - hang up & report the incident to the ATO on 1800 060 062

Indian woman called and in a threatening voice left the message on my answering machine. For me it was a good laugh but for some old and vulnerable can be a serious threat.

Received a call saying they are from ATO, this is a serious matter and it has a date and time stamp. It should not be ignored.
The mistake the lads with an Indian accent made was saying, I will pursue you all the way to court. ATO staff always say ATO will take matters further.
What kind off fools do these people think we are in Australia.
It would be really great if we can trace these calls to source, naming and shaming these cowards

Scam caller had a strong accent and left a message. Didn't give a name and purported that they were from the ATO. Requested someone to call back. Threatened that if no-one called back there would be legal action, arrest warrants would be issued and assets would be seized. I recon its a scammer. Blocked the number.

I received a message from ATO well half message they didn't use my name when I called the number back their was a leave a message and a beep.Very dodgy
