I am so sick of this - yet another pest (it feels like the millionth) calling without any consideration for me and what I might be doing and then not even bothering to leave a message.

He said he was from Telstra and that someone was trying to access our phone number, and did I give permission to do so! I asked, do you actually work for Telstra? and where are you calling from? He said Melbourne. So I said, why does my caller ID show an 02 prefix (SYD)? He hung up!!! SCAMMER!!!! Blocked...

I called back number (02) 8317 3418 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.

another scam call so sick of this surely our telcos can do something ......

These people continually harass landlines and mobiles and our Telecoms can't do anything about it !!! It's about time they came into the 21st Century and developed technology that prevented these scamming operations instead of the community and organisations like reverseaustralia having to provide some protection.
I divert all landline calls not in my contacts list to an old mobile phone so at least they pay the cost of an unanswered call - and waste a bit more of their time,,,,

People from India posing as Telstra techs saying my internet downloading outside files without my knowledge and its a bunch of BS when i am on TPG and use mobile internet mainly.

This number has been used to call my phone so many times. Always something new, amazon, telstra, recorded message press 1 etc. I think this is the number that maybe responsible for adding my number to a spoofing text message list if you answer call.

They hung up when I answered.

Scam caller

Just had this number call me at near 7:00pm Monday night, I say hello, they hang up!! I blocked the number. most probably a scammer waiting for me to call back.

Caller: Same scammer - Time waisted.

Indian accent spoke but not to me (in call centre) then hung up. How rude!!
