About 5 mins ago (maybe even less) I was on NIB website just looking at getting a quote. Sure enough, they ring me. If I actually wanted the policy... I would have bought it then and there.
NO.
I would like the time to read over it first, speak with my partner then decide if we go with them or not. Maybe I will arrange another quote with someone else.. just to compare...... I dont know why they insist on harassing phone calls the split second i jump on their website. Take a chill pill.

Just another number to add to the block list.

On reserve call it is NIB calling. I have received more than 10 empty phone calls to my private number. I had recently requested a quote for health insurance which i received via email. I have not taken any action on this and am now recieving phone calls with nobody on the other end. The calls are getting annoying and invasive as calls are occurring during work hours and mornings when i am asleepl Cold calls are rude, id suggest to block the number unless you are an NIB client.

Just called on both my mobile and landline (I think) within seconds of each other and I am a NIB customer. Nothing there when I answered both. Very annoying. Blocked the number.

Call every day and hang up when answered. They don't leave a message either. Viewing previous comments, did recently start a quote for health insurance with NIB - like others on this site.

Just wanted to say that everyone says it’s NIB (I haven’t answered as their times are so inconvenient) however, I went on for a quote online but didn’t finish the process and clearly they’ve decided to try follow it up as a ‘lead’ I suppose. I abandoned the quote when I saw they were more expensive. So annoying. Had a feeling this would happen. Youi did the same to me too

4 calls so far in the last month, as everyone who has comment the similar instance of once answered you're hung up upon.

NIB - this caused me to leave my private health and move elsewhere. To cancel this was also another event on its own, going through an overseas call centre is always painful. Especially when they're incompetent!

Same as all other callers - it is getting bloody annoying to say the lest! Who gives these organisations the ok to call numerous times? Waste of time and must cost them a fortune - ah that's right they get phone calls as a tax deduction so they really don't care how many times they call! ATOP should investigate!

I have been receiving between 2 and 8 silent calls Monday through Sunday for two weeks. I am an existing customer of NIB Health Insurance, and will soon be changing providers if these continue.

"... sorry we missed you. Please call NIB urgently on ..."
It was a 13 prefix number that was given to dial. Amazingly, the same message was left on both my home phone and my mobile phone at the same time. The messages were identical. Obviously a recorded one. Anyway, NIB has an 1800 number. The message did not address me by name nor was there a contact person nominated. Perhaps fraud or else advertising contact trying to get around Do not Call arrangements.

Received 34 calls from this number in 4 days, most times i answered and it hung up on me. Called back and its NIB health insurance, the IVR states that it is currently a long wait.
