Call from Irish guy who said he was phoning up re motor accident I had in the last 12 months. I have had no accidents and hung up. This is the second or third time this number has called but only the first time I had spoken to the jerk. THIS IS A SCAM.

I got same call last week, thaought it legit at first as had been in not at fault acco about 2 days before. All he wanted to know if anyone was in the car at the time. Once he had that info he virtually hung up as I was asking what company he was with. I too have a silent number and on do not call register. Where are they getting there info from? We are both insured with NRMA. Is anyone investigating these calls?

I knew this call was a scam from the word go, he said I had an accident & I was with NRMA, he also seemed to know some of my personal details, so I called my local NRMA & let them know that maybe their systems were either hacked or someone working for them was steeling infomation & using it for a scam. I never heard back from NRMA, and they keep calling, but they don't say anything, they just hang up- how stupid. This person didn't gain any info from me as I don't answer ANY questions over the phone. I'm not sure why they keep calling & hanging up, but it's peeing me off. So why doesn't the authorities close these con artists down, obviously with all these complaints, there is enough evidents here to do just that.

Pommy migrant , asked if he was talking to "Darren Langsford" I said no. He said this is his address, and rattled it off. I said no its not. Then he said" some one at this address was in a motor vehicle accident. Well did'nt I give it to him. He told me my mouth should be washed out with soup. He hung up. Please don't admit your personal details to any one over the phone. It infuriates them

My Number is on the 'do not call register' - illegal to call this number, please remove me form the call listing -

Caller with British accent wanting to know if my insurance needs were being met. Called on a private number and knew my name. He is getting information from somewhere. Told him I was not interested in talking to an unsolicited caller and hung up.

I was also rang by the pommy accented so called insurance agent on 25/1/17 asking about an accident I was recently involved in? To which I replied I have had or been in any accident and not sure what he was on about!!! He hung up!!

Call from Independant company about an accident. I told him it was a scam and not call again. 2 minutes later he called again saying he doesn't know why I hung up on him as he is trying to help me. When I asked what details of mine he said none that was why he was calling me. I told him that my accident was finalised over a year ago. He said ok thank you and hung up.
I have decided that I am buying a whistle and blow it as hard and as long as I can. Maybe it will deafen them and not be able to try scamming again.
