**SCAM ALERT**

British Guy with Northern Accent - telling me about the car accident I had in the last 12 months.

I told him I don't own a car and I knew this was a scam and I would be recording the conversation from that point onwards. He made some talk of taking me off his records, but I suspect I will hear from him again, (this is the second time he has called me, but from a different number)

Received a call today 23 January 2017 at 10:50 am from a man with a British accent making enquiries about an alleged accident I was involved in within the last twelve months, No such accident has occurred, I began to quiz the idiot as to which accident and what insurance company, he replied as he was reading the report stating it dosent say, I asked him are you government or an insurance company to which he replied that he is an independent company representing clients involved in motor vehicle accidents, I hung up

Same scam as the rest of this thread - some pommy guy talking sh*t. He didn't like it when I strung him along about the supposed "accident". Not very clever.

This number has been calling me for days but hasn't left any message. So after reading these posts, I've blocked this number.

just had a call from a pommy male asking for details about my insurance claim. I had calls last week and read this forum. He advised he is following up my insurance claim from my accident and just needed me to answer 3 questions. He asked when tha ccident was? 13/12/2016 his response "well 13 is unlucky for some isn't it" he then asked if anyone was injured, i said i hit a pedestrian. He said, so they walked out in front of you? I said no I was on my phone. Was there any witnesses? my 2 year old son. Was there any serious injuries? sever injuries to pedestrian who is still recovery in hospital. He said thank you for that I can now close your file and hung up

Hahahaha got him!

Just like everyone, a British guy called me about "a car accident I was involved in". Having already read this list I just laughed and told him to stop scamming people and piss off. I then hung up as he was calling my a scumbag or something...

Just got the call from the Brit. He's still doing the rounds. Telstra need more powers to find these people and cut them off. Sigh. At least phone's can automatically block numbers these days.

Seriously though, is he actually asking anyone for info or is he just being a troll for some youtube video?

Some woman with a thick English accent rang me this morning rabbitting on about some car accident involving a minor collision in my car. As I have just bought a new demo Nissan 370Z from a Brisbane dealer I was concerned about non-disclosure by the dealer. When I started asking a lot of questions - when, where, how, who???? she hung up on me! Tried to ring back but kept getting an engaged signal. Rang Telstra who researched the number and was told it was a telemarketing scam with history. Can't somebody track this person down and deliver summary justice? Imagine some poor old pensioner driving a banger - enough to give them a heart attack!
