Our number is on the Do Not Call Register but these people still keep bypassing it. The caller said he was calling about the Federal Government Solar Initiative and started off by asking me if I already had Solar Panels. I interrupted him and asked how he got our phone number and he hung up. I received a phone call almost identical on the 19th Feb but the caller id on that call was overseas same thing when I queried how they got our number they hung up grrrrrr

Keep getting called by this number in new zealand. They keep hanging up but don't say anything. Hope they are on a good toll rate.

Got a call said he was Brent Johnson. Pilipino accent. Asked for me by name. I asked what company it was. He said Pro Active Research. I asked what they do. He hung up.

Called not long ago. No message left. I never call back any such numbers. Hopefully won't call again. A surefire way of determining if a caller is legit is to let unknown callers go through to voicemail. If they're legit, then they will leave a clear message stating who they are, where they are calling from and why they're calling. If any caller comes up as "private", then to me that comes across as sneaky. Why would any legit caller hide their number in the first place?

Call from this number claiming to be from Telstra Bigpond and telling me they would be terminating my service because of something I had downloaded. I asked him why my anti-virus did not pick it up and then after a long pause he said it was malware. I asked him why my anti-malware software let it through and he then hung up.

I receive regular calls from this mob, my Fritz!Box is now set to automatically answer calls from them with a stern recorded voice announcement with threats to report them to ACMA.

They have claimed to be Telstra and disconnecting my internet tomorrow 😂😂😂😂

Ok I have all PRIVATE Calls Blocked on my Phone

if people cant show what number they are calling from then ya crap outta luck getting thru
the other thing I have now done is when I see that number its added to the BLOCKED call numbers list
on the phone so it goes thru to the machine telling them "WE DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM YOU GOODBYE"

this way it stops us picking up the already blocked numbers and eventually they wont be able to call us
with the list of blocked numbers....

Got a call from this number twice today. 1st time it said it was from an electric company, and asked if I had received my 'free LED lights'. I told him to sod off, as I was working. Rang again about 6 hours later, this time it hung up as I answered. Very strange.

I just received a call from these people about study courses or something - she was hard to understand. When I asked what company she was calling from, she asked if I was the Do Not Call Register. I answered in the affirmative and she said that she didn't want to give the name then and hung up. Obviously a scam - first one in a while since I joined the DNC register.

Hello, had a call from and OVERSEAS ID i picked up but did not speak, they hung up.
had another call 5 mins later same ID ditto happened, then 2 min later this no. came up (02) 8279 7630 i picked up but did not speak, they hung up. Then 5 min later i got the OVERSEAS ID again. i never speak i wait till they hang up, as i know its spam, no use getting angry as they will keep on ringing.
