dodgy as a 3$ bill - (02) 8223 9788 - do not call back. started off as a "Microsoft" person - transferred call to a sales person for a product I've never purchase.

Caller: Microsoft Copilot Salesman

Was really disappointed when Microsoft went behind my cloud partners back and rang me directly trying to sell Copilot licenses and ask about my clients IT infrastructure. Really dodgy and disappointing tactics by Microsoft

Called mentioning they were partners of a client of ours and were asking questions on what kind of servers we had. Opened with we are "evaluating your IT services" and "will only take 5 minutes of your time.". I put them on hold to get more info from our managing engineer and they hung up. Most likely a scammer.

Was a Microsoft azure engineer checking in on starting with Azure.
Genuine caller and something i signed up for

Constant calling and emails wanting to "align Microsoft licenses"

I hung up at that point.

Called back and went to call centre but unanswered

Caller: Microsoft Product (Azure) Support

Genuine Microsoft support team calling to offer support for Azure after subscribing to trial (no doubt aiming to get a sale to full package)

Caller: Sales telemarketer

Claiming to be Microsoft but didn’t know exactly what products I have subscription for - so at least a dodgy sales tactic if not a scam ……
