Concerning "True Solutions", this involves agreeing to meet a representative for 45 minutes to hear free financial advice, in exchange for a free android tablet. I asked the lady why, if this was a legitimate business, they were giving their expertise and time away by providing free financial advice, let alone free tablets. What legitimate business does that? I asked whether they were doing it out of the goodness of their hearts? The lady got annoyed, huffed and puffed, said "whatever" and hung up on me. Too much fun.

Bloke called John I think from "True Solutions" telling me I entered a competition back in Feb/Mar to win $1000 through Coles/Myer. I said I didn't know that and he rattled off maybe it was Woolworths, Bunnings and a few others which is when I knew he was a scam. He said I didn't win the $1000 but I was going to receive an android tablet and some financial freedom package....I let him go on a bit and I told him I was unemployed which changed his tune. Then I called him on it asking for details of the competition and he got irked, told me I was annoying him!!! Hahaha. I said I knew he was a scammer goodbye. Don't be fooled peeps! This guy will no doubt be getting a new phone number...

John was so rude. He rang me then said 'Don't worry about it" because I said I was at work. Seemed dodgy.

Said I entered some Coles competition. Could definitely tell it was a sales call. Anyway cut him off straight away as I was at work and to call later. Hes called three times in the last few day. I just keep disconnecting and adding this to my blocked caller list

They called me from (02) 9131 4043, said it was True Solutions. I gave them a true solution ... hung up and blocked their number. That rings true for me!
She said I'd entered some kind of competition and I didn't want to be bothered at all so I just hung up. Filth.

Same as the above. Number which called through was (02) 9131 4049 and the mobile of the person who was going to give us "financial advice" was 0417 750 958.
The caller was also very reluctant to have a meeting in a public place to discuss e.g. coffee shop. They insist on coming to your home.
I have not responded to their follow-up call. Apparently you must answer the consultant's call as confirmation before they will go to your place for the appointment.

Same scam but from (02) 9131 4049. I foolishly went along with it for a while, but when they started asking details of mine and my partner's exact incomes I said I'd have to look into it as it online as it sounded like a scam. She couldn't get off the phone quick enough!! Now blocked.. Back to not answering unknown numbers grrr.. :-(

These people are now using (02) 8199 7698 also! Claim to be "Freedom Connect" but if you look up the website whois records it's under MBM Communications (cheap GoDaddy domain purchase with a Wix DIY website, not many contact details). "Freedom Connect Australia" on ASIC was only registered about a week ago! And MBM Communications about 2 months ago. Another trading name "True Solutions" was also only registered like a week ago. Not much about these people online. Kyle McQueen is apparently the owner. Claimed that I had won an Android tablet and some kind of financial advice pack. Definitely fake. Stay away.

Yes, I had a call from a lady today. Not the first time in recent weeks, usually they hang up as soon as I answer. Told me I missed out on a coles/myer voucher, but I had been chosen for a freedom information package and a tablet. Asked me to confirm age, post code. But when I said that I didn't earn the magic figure of 100 000, was told sorry you no longer qualify.

Do not answer these people. I stupidly answered the questions ppl have quoted above. I don't know what they do with your information but the information I gave them wasn't even correct or accurate so good luck with it scammers. Concerning the ask about children though. Block them!
