This number (02) 9131 4030 is a scam call centre. As highlighted by others who have posted, they never leave a message and you certainly have no means of getting through to someone, in case you are tempted to return the call.

Authorities should be clamping down and barring this number. Moreover, persons or businesses registered with this number who then attempt to apply for a new number should be prevented from doing so. A national register of scam operators should be developed (let's start 'naming and shaming) and tracked via ASIC every time they attempt to re-register under a new business name. These operators are becoming increasingly sophisticated and attempt to obtain as much information about the person they are calling as possible.

In the past, scam operators were about letting you know that you had inherited a sum of money or had won a prize. They now are after 'yes' and 'no' responses and combine this with seeking out your first name and surname, before canvassing the Internet for your profile on social media and your suburb etc. They in turn use this information for the purposes of identity theft/fraud, theft of property and access to financial information, including your banking details.

The fact that these 'scammers' exist suggests that they are having a level of success in obtaining the level of information they require.

It's time our regulations and laws caught-up with scam/con artists. Otherwise, we risk tax payers money being wasted trying to bring them to justice.

Answered their call - They claimed I entered a survey to win $1000 voucher for coles but then went on to say I did not win the major prize but I did win an android tablet. He claimed I entered sometime earlier this year and wanted to verify some questions. First of all the surname he mentioned was my previous name before marriage 8 years ago. So there is no way I would have used the name he claimed. He said I could only recieve the gift when I agreed to sit with a Freedom insurance person that would take about 45 min. I refused any further discussion with him knowing it was a scam. I asked for his head office number which he proceeded to give me 0431 then the phone just happened to cut off. Just scammers. DO NOT give them any info.

They also tried to get me with a Free Tablet offering advice on Superannuation.
WARNING - They ask very personal information like who's name is on the Deed to the House and can you quickly send me a copy of your last payslip PRERABLY with your banking details so we know "its legitimate." They went so far as to confirm my adress to drop off free tablet. I knew they were dubious when so called manager doing a customer service follow up call said that the person attending the superannuation appointment would dropoff tablet. BE CAREFUL as they come across really legitimate.

this number (02) 9131 4030 continuously calling my mobile but does not leave any message at all. I called back but it rings out so I just blocked the caller. after reading all the other comments here...it seems that the advertising people seems to be sharing my mobile numbers. It is so annoying and I want to know how to stop it.
