No one was speaking and when you call back it hangs up Rang and hung up after answering. Answered their call - They claimed I entered a survey to win $1000 voucher for coles but then went on to say I did not win the major prize but I did win an android tablet. He claimed I entered sometime earlier this year and wanted to verify some questions. First of all the surname he mentioned was my previous name before marriage 8 years ago. So there is no way I would have used the name he claimed. He said I could only recieve the gift when I agreed to sit with a Freedom insurance person that would take about 45 min. I refused any further discussion with him knowing it was a scam. I asked for his head office number which he proceeded to give me 0431 then the phone just happened to cut off. Just scammers. DO NOT give them any info. trying to offer Coles Myer vouchers for completing a survey. scam True Solution Australia selling you their financial freedom package This number calls everyday none stop. Yet when calling back it automatically hangs up. They called me and promised me a android tablet if I sat down and spoke to their sales person for 45 minutes tried to call them back phone just hangs up straight away I think it's a scam they had my date of birth and address and name they made an appointment and no nothing further Same as above. Answered and it hangs up. Had multiple calls Rang then hung up after answering. they have called me two days in a rowe. I just answered the last call and after after saying hello twice he finally ask if i was carol and when i replied yes he hung up This number (02) 9131 4030 is a scam call centre. As highlighted by others who have posted, they never leave a message and you certainly have no means of getting through to someone, in case you are tempted to return the call.
Authorities should be clamping down and barring this number. Moreover, persons or businesses registered with this number who then attempt to apply for a new number should be prevented from doing so. A national register of scam operators should be developed (let's start 'naming and shaming) and tracked via ASIC every time they attempt to re-register under a new business name. These operators are becoming increasingly sophisticated and attempt to obtain as much information about the person they are calling as possible.
In the past, scam operators were about letting you know that you had inherited a sum of money or had won a prize. They now are after 'yes' and 'no' responses and combine this with seeking out your first name and surname, before canvassing the Internet for your profile on social media and your suburb etc. They in turn use this information for the purposes of identity theft/fraud, theft of property and access to financial information, including your banking details.
The fact that these 'scammers' exist suggests that they are having a level of success in obtaining the level of information they require.
It's time our regulations and laws caught-up with scam/con artists. Otherwise, we risk tax payers money being wasted trying to bring them to justice.
Keep getting calls they hung up like they are transferring got a free tablet for sitting down at my place listening to a financial expert for 45 min. got some decent advise about tax to will I was there As above, they said that I won something then they hung up, probably some salesperson is trying to reach their no of calls quota. Had the same problem, they called me and when I asked who was speaking they hung up. Obviously it's a scam so no one give any personal information to the callers. Calling non-stop and just says on the caller name Sydney NSW. The phone rang, not knowing the number and having had a lot of calls lately with no-one on the other end, I just said hello. They asked if this was "..." (my name), then hung up.
I called back and it just clicked off.
Just got a call saying they were from True Energy Solutions and they were following up on a survey I did in March for a $1000 Myer voucher. When I said that I don't remember doing that survey they hung up. Called me multiple times this week. Even after I spoke with them twice. It is True Solutions. No one picks up when you return the call
