Concerning "True Solutions", this involves agreeing to meet a representative for 45 minutes to hear free financial advice, in exchange for a free android tablet. I asked the lady why, if this was a legitimate business, they were giving their expertise and time away by providing free financial advice, let alone free tablets. What legitimate business does that? I asked whether they were doing it out of the goodness of their hearts? The lady got annoyed, huffed and puffed, said "whatever" and hung up on me. Too much fun. A lady called Bronwyn rang me. We decided to meet this Friday at 6pm. She also provided me her mobile number which is 0450 363 587 Bloke called John I think from "True Solutions" telling me I entered a competition back in Feb/Mar to win $1000 through Coles/Myer. I said I didn't know that and he rattled off maybe it was Woolworths, Bunnings and a few others which is when I knew he was a scam. He said I didn't win the $1000 but I was going to receive an android tablet and some financial freedom package....I let him go on a bit and I told him I was unemployed which changed his tune. Then I called him on it asking for details of the competition and he got irked, told me I was annoying him!!! Hahaha. I said I knew he was a scammer goodbye. Don't be fooled peeps! This guy will no doubt be getting a new phone number... John was so rude. He rang me then said 'Don't worry about it" because I said I was at work. Seemed dodgy. Said I entered some Coles competition. Could definitely tell it was a sales call. Anyway cut him off straight away as I was at work and to call later. Hes called three times in the last few day. I just keep disconnecting and adding this to my blocked caller list What happened at the meeting? Yes, I had a call from a lady today. Not the first time in recent weeks, usually they hang up as soon as I answer. Told me I missed out on a coles/myer voucher, but I had been chosen for a freedom information package and a tablet. Asked me to confirm age, post code. But when I said that I didn't earn the magic figure of 100 000, was told sorry you no longer qualify. Do not answer these people. I stupidly answered the questions ppl have quoted above. I don't know what they do with your information but the information I gave them wasn't even correct or accurate so good luck with it scammers. Concerning the ask about children though. Block them! phedophiles looking for young children too molest. Yes same story. Rang yesterday but I missed the call. Rang again today to say I missed out on first prize but got second prize which is Android tablet and financial freedom package.
Total scam have blocked it.
Same as above - clearly still at it... I keep getting calls from this number then they are silent when I answer, then hang up....when I call the number back it constantly hangs up .....I am so annoyed don't call me again I got a call from them today. They asked if I am employed and home owner and will send the tablet and financial freedom package to my address (which I stupidly confirmed). No mention about appointment. I will definitely block the number though. Same story as everyone else: android tablet, free financial advice blah blah. What I did though is to ask for some additional info to be sent before I agree to a meeting. I got an email from "Kyle McQueen", Head of Operations, True Solutions Australia. Not sure if it's a real name but here are his email and mobile: email@example.com and 0431 796 672. Feel free to troll him! Same story as everyone else - told me I'd entered a competition to win $1,000 (which I hadn't), then tried to tell me it had happened when I'd shopped with my MyerOne card (I don't have a MyerOne card!), then tried to get me to admit I shopped at ColesMyer stores (which I don't). Told me I'd won a free Android tablet (which I don't need - I have an iPad thanks) and got quite affronted when I wouldn't entertain him any longer. Definitely a nuisance call and the number has now been blocked. Just received another annoying call from this mob... do they not understand no interest lied in their offers when the person they call has not picked up the phone once during their 25 calls to that mobile number????? Avoid at all costs! I have had 5 calls already this morning to arrange a meeting - each person asking the same questions about my personal information. Calls were from different mobile numbers and the 81970960 number - none of the numbers work if you then try to call them back.
SO dodgy. AVOID!
This no keeps calling as soon as I answer they hang up Same thing with me ...free tablet financial advice ....hope they ring back so I can abuse them. scam operated by scum
